Light, the source of life, is recording the track of time for thousands of years. Architectural design has accumulated
great experience in making use of natural light during a long time. After the appearance of artificial light, people can
use light to decorate the architecture on purpose and they begin to think about problems like aesthetic feeling and
saving energy of lamps.
Architecture, together with light, are the place where people live and thus can influence people's mind and feelings.
No other art can be mentioned in the same breath as the one that combines light, architecture and life, which is
lighting design.
